What should we do first to start construction?

Once the blueprints and plans are complete and your permits are approved, construction begins and your home takes shape, usually by following these steps:
1. Land preparation
The first step in the construction process is to prepare the soil. This includes clearing the site, digging trenches and making sure utility lines are installed.
2. Foundation
Your foundation will be made of poured concrete reinforced with steel bars. Depending on the area of land you are building on and the design of your home, you may have a slab foundation, crawl space, or full basement.
3. Rough construction
At the frame step, the rough construction of the house begins to take shape. The frame includes the joists that make up the floor joists, sub-floors, walls and roof trusses. During this step, the team will insulate the home to protect it from moisture. If the construction is taking place during the rainy season, your builder will install windows, roof tiles, etc. at this stage. can also be installed.
4. Plumbing, electrical, etc.
After the home is "dry," our company will begin installing the home's major systems, including plumbing, electrical wiring, and heating and cooling ducts.
5. Isolation
Your home's insulation needs will vary depending on the climate, but generally insulation will be applied to exterior walls, basements, basements, and attics. Fiberglass, cellulose, and foam insulation are all options.
6. Interior decorations
Most of the interior features of the house will be added in this step. This includes doors, baseboards, cabinets, window sills, stair railings, kitchen countertops and cabinets, tubs, sinks, and hard surface flooring. Interior painting and hardwood installation are sometimes done at this stage, but can be done later if there is a risk of damage due to ongoing construction.
7. External coatings
Driveways, walkways, patios and final landscaping to divert water away from the home will be completed. Landscaping and exterior decoration also take place at this stage.
8. Installation of the lighting device
As the house is nearing completion, the toilet, faucet, light switches, heater covers, hot water heater, electrical panel and HVAC systems have been installed. Many of these items require another review. Another task that occurs at this stage is the installation of glass accessories such as mirrors and shower doors.
9. Installation of the floor
At this late stage, carpet and hardwood floors are added. Be sure to check the condition of the hardwood with the builder to avoid accidental damage.
10. Final inspection
Upon completion of construction, a final inspection will be conducted by the local building authority.
